I read two articles written by Ivan Penn from NYTimes a few days ago that the Honeybee colonies are disappearing in North America due to climate change and the trade wars.
The base is a dark atmosphere to illustrate the protective side in the bees showing how they are alert (as we should be for them), and how they are in a way 'fending for themselves' against the flower that represents the climate situation. The petals of the flowers are in wave and fire-like forms indicating the drowning and the wildfires caused by the weather changes. Though I didn't draw out the political side explicitly, I hope that this illustration can encourage the viewers to learn more about the situation and be more motivated to help.
